In the top ten for the first time I hit Motors KIA, and
the first place is still headed by " Auchan".
Forbes Magazine published a rating of the largest foreign
companies operating in Russia. The first place in it for the fifth year in
a row is Groupe Auchan (Auchan, Atak) with annual revenue of 327.7 billion
rubles.
In the first three were also the automobile company Toyota
Motor with revenue of 313.2 billion rubles and the tobacco company DZ. T.
I. Russia ”(Japan Tobacco International) with revenue of 303.4 billion rubles.
For the first time in the top ten was the Korean KIA, which
occupied only 11th position last year. OBI construction retailer and candy
producer Mon'delis Rus (Mondelēz International, brands Alpen Gold, Milka and
Oreo), who dropped out last year, also returned to the top 50.
The publication notes that, despite the sanctions, the
revenue of foreign companies in Russia is growing. In 2018, among the top
50 companies from the rating, it increased by 10.2%, or by 588 billion rubles
to 6.4 trillion rubles.
