The White House has published a transcript of the conversation between Trump and Zelensky

From the document follows, that Trump asked Zelensky " examine" the matter Joe Biden's son, but the financial assistance to Ukraine in this conversation is not mentioned.

White House published transcript half-hour telephone conversation between Donald Trump and Vladimir Zelensky, which took place between them on July 25 and caused the impeachment of the American leader to begin.

On a five-page document is the seal "Declassified." This is not a verbatim transcript of the conversation - the material is based on the records of White House employees who were present in Trump's office during the conversation.

From the transcript of the conversation, it follows that Trump asked Zelensky to “study” the case of the Burisma gas company associated with his son Joe Biden (the 76-year-old former vice president is a Democratic presidential candidate in the 2020 elections and, accordingly, Trump’s political rival). The American leader asked Zelensky to discuss the situation with his lawyer Rudy Giuliani and US Attorney General William Barr.

“There is a lot of talk about Biden’s son that Biden ended the prosecution. Many people want to know about this, so everything you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden bragged about stopping the investigation, so if you could study ... I think that sounds awful, ”Trump said during the conversation.

Zelensky promised to deal with this matter. He also asked Trump to provide additional information about the “Biden case” for an investigation in Ukraine.

In addition, during the conversation, Trump criticized Europe for insufficient assistance to Ukraine:
“I will say that we do a lot for Ukraine. We spend a lot of effort and a lot of time. Much more than European countries, they should help you more than now. Germany does almost nothing for you, ”Trump Zelensky said.

At the same time, there is nothing in the published transcript about providing financial assistance to Ukraine in exchange for conducting an investigation.

Recall, it was because of this conversation that the U.S. House of representatives began impeachment of Donald Trump.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that during the July conversation, Trump allegedly pressed Zelensky to start an investigation into the activities of Biden's company in Ukraine. According to opponents of Trump, for this he offered Ukraine financial assistance in the amount of $ 250 million.
