On July 4, you want your fireworks to explode. You do not want them to put your barbecue in danger.
But the Consumer Product Safety Commission has withdrawn thousands of fireworks from four companies, especially after a child lost his hand when turning on a defective firework.
The fireworks were removed from the market after it was discovered that they were overloaded with gunpowder, with the intention of creating a louder sound but violating federal standards.
According to the safety commission, overburdened fireworks can create large explosions, creating serious risks for customers, including explosions.
Here are all the products removed from the market, so you can keep your party safe from July 4th.
