2019 Women's World Cup: France beat South Korea 4-0


France defeated South Korea 4-0 in the opening match of the Women's World Cup played Friday night at Parc des Princes in Paris.

"It's a lot of emotion, it's a great moment, we put a lot of direct intensity, we were aggressive on the carrier, we made it happen quickly, which allowed us to unfold without pressure," he said. French defender Marion Torrent at TF1 after the match.
The competition, which is being held for the first time in France, opened with French singer Jain and her piece "Gloria" specially composed for the Women's World Cup.

The Parc des Princes was full of 45,261 spectators to kick off the competition that brings together this year 24 teams spread across 52 games in different stadiums in France.
The France team will face Norway on June 12th. China will play its first match of the competition on Saturday, June 8 at 15h (local time) against Germany.
